Faith Marek is a video editor and DP working in and out of the Tri-state Area (primarily NYC and CT). Her love of film began at an early age, morphing into a passion for documentary storytelling and the moving image while attending Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School. In 2009, she graduated from The School of Visual Arts in NYC, receiving a BFA in Film and Video. 

Since graduating as a fledgling editor, she has gone on to be the finishing editor on the independent feature length documentary Black Women In Medicine (2016), a shooter, finishing editor and animator for the pilot episode of Slice of America (2024) and in recent years has found a new passion editing campaigns and social content for luxury home goods, fashion, and beauty brands while working for prestigious agencies such as Consulate, Modern Post, and Industrial Color. In between marketing gigs, she is also currently working as a producer, DP and, lead editor on the documentary Best Video: The Movie.
